Eddie Liu is the Managing Director of ACT Genomics Hong Kong, overseeing the regional business strategy and operations in Hong Kong and China. From strategic planning and R&D to sales and marketing, Mr. Liu has extensive international experiences from the world’s leading tech companies.
Prior to joining ACT Genomics, Mr. Liu served as the CEO of Dosilicon and the President of China at Greenliant Systems, responsible for China operation, Asia Pacific business management and global business planning. In addition, he was the Global Senior Business Director at Microchip and previously held executive positions at Texas Instruments and ON Semiconductor, where he oversaw business development, strategic planning, sales and marketing management . In 2000, Mr. Liu co-founded InfoInOne, which became a top online financial service provider, and served as a venture capital consultant in Hong Kong between 2000 and 2002. In addition, he has been a privately-offered fund partner in high-tech and biomedical technology industries, providing his expertise on strategic consulting, tech analysis and financial planning to senior management executives.
Mr. Liu has a strong vision in applying big data and artificial intelligence to the medical industry. He is deeply passionate and has great confidence that Precision Medicine, made possible by the integration of genomics and bioinformatics tools, will be the solution to comprehensive cancer management for patients.
Mr. Liu received his Executive MBA from China Europe International Business School (CEIBS), Shanghai, and BEng.(Hons) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, UK.
